{"id":220502,"date":"2025-08-25T14:30:00","date_gmt":"2025-08-25T13:30:00","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/www.motorsportweek.com\/?p=220502"},"modified":"2025-08-25T13:44:25","modified_gmt":"2025-08-25T12:44:25","slug":"marc-marquez-not-normal-to-win-every-weekend-despite-hungarian-motogp-domination","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/www.motorsportweek.com\/2025\/08\/25\/marc-marquez-not-normal-to-win-every-weekend-despite-hungarian-motogp-domination\/","title":{"rendered":"Marc Marquez: \u2018Not normal to win every weekend\u2019 despite Hungarian MotoGP domination"},"content":{"rendered":"\n<p><a href=\"https:\/\/www.motorsportweek.com\/tag\/marc-marquez\/\">Marc Marquez<\/a> admits \u201cit\u2019s not normal to win every weekend\u201d after his 2025 dominance continued at the Hungarian MotoGP round.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>The Spanish rider took one step closer to a ninth world title as he sealed a seventh double of the season at the new Balaton Park circuit, taking victory by over four seconds at the flag.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Despite falling behind Marco Bezzecchi at the start, Marquez revealed he was \u201ccomfortable\u201d throughout Sunday\u2019s Grand Prix as he made the race-winning move on Lap 11.&nbsp;<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>However, the Spanish rider also admitted his achievement of winning at 13 of the 14 rounds this campaign was \u201cnot normal.\u201d<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>\u201cI cannot lie, today was comfortable,&#8221; Marquez told <a href=\"https:\/\/www.motogp.com\/en\/videos\/2025\/08\/24\/marquez-the-title-is-getting-closer-but-i-want-it-in-japan-or-indonesia\/757438?playlistId=17859\">MotoGP.com<\/a> after Sunday&#8217;s race. <\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>&#8220;I was riding in a very good way. It\u2019s true that everything that happened as we\u2019ve seen in the first two corners, but after that I got momentum.\u00a0<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>\u201cI just cooled down and just tried to warm my rear tyre because I was with the medium and from that point, just to build the race and as soon as I led the race, the pace was good.&nbsp;<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>\u201cI was fluid on the track, I was on the good lines so today was a very good day, but it\u2019s not normal.
